How to Clean Cubicle Walls

How do you know when to clean cubicle walls? Cubicles have a way of fading into the workplace and we don’t think about them much after they’re installed. However, like anything, they can become soiled and in need of cleaning. Here are a few ways to determine if your cubicles are ready to be cleaned:

Walls Have Stain Spots – In this case, you can try some standard spot remover, such as Resolve. Test a small area in an inconspicious place before cleaning all of your spots. If this doesn’t work, consider a bucket with warm water and laundry detergent. Use only the suds and a cloth or brush to gently wash the stains. Be cautious not to get too much water as this could cause further discoloration.

Fabric is Dusty When Tapped – Cubicles with fabric walls are magnets for dust and allergens. The good news is that if your walls are dusty but not stained, you can likely vacuum them. Use an upholstrey or stairs attachment and gently cover the entire wall surface, lightly tapping while you vacuum.

Walls Look Soiled – When large spaces on walls are dirty, it’s difficult to restore a clean look on your own. Best leave the big jobs to the pros. If the problem isn’t widespead, you could consider replacing the walls in question. Call us and we can help to see if the color is something that’s readily available and EZ to match.
